Have you ever wondered if you’ve gone too far?

Fallen too deeply?

Messed up too badly for anyone—let alone God—to still love you?

Do you ever sit with your regrets, your failures, your sins, and think, “This can’t be redeemed. I’ve gone too far this time.”

You’re not alone. And you’re not beyond redemption.

This is the heartbeat of The Scandal of Undeserved Love: A Journey of Grace, Conviction, and True Transformation, a book that dares to confront the lies we tell ourselves and the truths we often overlook about the depth of God’s love.

It’s an unapologetically raw, emotional, and life-changing journey into the beauty of grace—a grace so scandalous, so undeserved, that it shatters every barrier we’ve built between ourselves and God.

Soon, it will be available at Kibanga and Nuria BookStores in Nairobi, this is a book that will leave you deeply convicted, profoundly moved, and forever transformed.

The Scandal That Changes Everything

The very idea of grace feels scandalous, doesn’t it?

A holy God choosing to love sinners, even the most broken, the most rebellious, the most unworthy among us.

It doesn’t make sense.

And yet, this is the heart of the gospel—the good news that while we were still sinners, while we were still running from Him, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

But let’s be honest. We hear about grace, but we often don’t really believe it.

Deep down, many of us think God’s love has limits, that it’s conditional, that it’s for the righteous, the "clean," the ones who’ve got their act together. And yet, The Scandal of Undeserved Love blows this myth apart.

This book takes us deep into the truth that God’s love isn’t reserved for the worthy—it’s poured out for the unworthy.

It’s for the sinner. The hypocrite. The outcast. The brokenhearted. The prodigal. And yes—it’s for you.

A Father’s Love Like No Other

One of the most moving elements of this book is the my deeply personal reflection on my own relationship with my daughter, Hadassah.

She’s a whirlwind of energy and joy but, like any child, she can push me to my limits. She’s smashed my phone, destroyed my laptop, and interrupted countless meetings. And yet, my love for her remains unshaken.

In one of the passages, I write, “No matter how much Hadassah frustrates me or gets on my nerves, I still love her immeasurably. She’s my child, my joy, my heart. And if my flawed, human love for her is this strong, how much more does our perfect Heavenly Father love us?

This question cuts straight to the heart.

If a father on earth can love so deeply, so fiercely, so unconditionally, then how much greater is the love of our Heavenly Father?

How much more does God long to hold us, forgive us, and welcome us home, even when we’ve run away, broken His heart, or made a mess of things?

The love of God isn’t fragile.

It isn’t conditional. And it isn’t dependent on you being “good enough.”

It’s relentless. It’s unbreakable. And it’s always waiting for you to come back, no matter how far you’ve gone.

For the One Who Feels Too Far Gone

Maybe you’re reading this right now, and you feel like this book isn’t for you.

Maybe you’ve convinced yourself that you’ve gone too far, sinned too deeply, or failed too many times. But let me tell you something: this book is exactly for you!

The Scandal of Undeserved Love doesn’t shy away from the messiness of life. It confronts the hypocrisy in our hearts, the sins we try to bury, the shame we carry, and the lies we believe about ourselves.

It holds up a mirror to the ways we’ve judged others and, more importantly, the ways we’ve judged ourselves unworthy of God’s love.

And then it shatters that mirror with the truth of grace.

This is a book for the prodigal who’s too ashamed to come home.

It’s for the hypocrite sitting in church, hiding behind a mask. It’s for the person who’s been told they’re too far gone, and for the one who’s told themselves the same lie.

Through deeply personal stories, profound biblical insights, and the kind of writing that feels like it’s reaching directly into your soul, this book offers a message of hope: You are not written off. God’s love for you is greater than your failures.

His grace is greater than your sin. And He is calling you home.

A Call to Transformation

But this book isn’t just about comfort—it’s about conviction.

It’s about the kind of love that doesn’t just accept us as we are but transforms us into something new.

The kind of love that doesn’t leave us in our sin but calls us out of it.

The grace in The Scandal of Undeserved Love is not cheap grace. It’s costly. It’s the grace that hung on a cross, bore the weight of our sins, and rose again to give us new life.

It’s the grace that teaches us to “say no to ungodliness and worldly passions” and to livelives of holiness and purpose (Titus 2:11-12).

This is a book that will not only reassure you of God’s love but will challenge you to live in the light of that love—to let it transform you from the inside out.
