Shadows of Deception

COVID-19, Monkeypox, and the Game of Pandemics

By Morris Wambua

As the world recovers from the seismic impact of COVID-19, a new threat begins to gather steam—Monkeypox. Hailed by some as the next potential pandemic, its emergence raises unsettling questions. But have we truly learned from the COVID-19 debacle? Or are we once again caught in a web of manipulation, where the truth about these viruses and their agenda remains obscured?
COVID-19: Nature, Origin, and the Genetic Mystery

The origins of COVID-19 remain shrouded in mystery, a puzzle that still eludes a definitive answer. Official narratives pointed to a wet market in Wuhan, but this explanation was quickly questioned by scientists and sceptics alike. What about the lab-leak theory, which posits that the virus could have escaped from a research facility studying coronaviruses? Why was this line of inquiry initially dismissed as fringe, only to gain credibility later? The genetic makeup of the virus itself raises further questions. SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, has unusual features that sparked debate in the scientific community. The furin cleavage site, for example, is a unique characteristic that enhances the virus’s ability to infect human cells. Was this a natural evolution or the result of gain-of-function research, where scientists manipulate pathogens to study their potential effects on humans? These questions are not just academic—they have real-world implications for understanding and responding to pandemics. If the origins of COVID-19 are unclear, how can we trust the narrative being fed to us? How can we be sure that future pandemics, like Monkeypox, aren’t being shaped by similar forces behind the scenes?

Monkeypox: The New Scare and the Genetic Puzzle
Monkeypox, a virus known to science for decades has suddenly thrust into the global spotlight. Like COVID-19, Monkeypox has a unique genetic structure that warrants close examination. Unlike SARS-CoV-2, an RNA virus, Monkeypox is a DNA virus, meaning it is more stable and mutates at a slower rate. However, recent outbreaks have shown unusual transmission patterns, leading to speculation that the virus may have undergone genetic changes. Is this just an example of natural evolution, or could there be more to the story? Are we witnessing the emergence of a naturally occurring variant, or is there a possibility that the virus has been manipulated? These questions demand serious investigation, yet they are often dismissed in mainstream discourse. Moreover, the sudden global spread of Monkeypox, a virus that historically had limited geographic reach, raises alarm bells. How
did a virus that was once contained to specific regions in Africa suddenly find its way into multiple countries at once? Is this a coincidence, or is there an underlying factor yet to be revealed?

The Genetic Manipulation Question: A Hidden Agenda?

The concept of genetic manipulation is not new. Scientists have experimented with viruses in labs for years, altering their genetic codes to understand their behavior and potential impacts. This research, often conducted to prepare for future pandemics, is not without risk. The possibility of accidental release—or even intentional use—of genetically modified pathogens is a real and present danger. Was COVID-19 an unintended consequence of such research? Could Monkeypox be next? And if so, who is responsible, and why? The lack of transparency surrounding these questions fuels suspicion. We are told to trust the science, but what happens when it is compromised? The genetic similarities and differences between these viruses also warrant scrutiny. Both COVID-19 and Monkeypox affect the human immune system but in different ways. COVID-19 primarily attacks the respiratory system, while Monkeypox causes a rash and flu-like symptoms. However, the potential for both viruses to cause severe illness in vulnerable populations is clear. Are these viruses part of a larger pattern or isolated incidents? And why is there so little public discussion about the possibility of genetic engineering playing a role in their emergence?

Science or Science Fiction?

As we face this new wave of viral threats, we must ask the hard questions that mainstream narratives often sidestep. Is Monkeypox truly a natural virus, or has it been altered somehow? If so, who is responsible for these changes, and what is their agenda? Are we once again being used as guinea pigs in a global experiment with little regard for the long-term consequences? Why are alternative perspectives on these issues labeled conspiracy theories rather than being taken seriously and investigated thoroughly? Repressing dissenting voices is not a hallmark of good science—it is a sign of something far more troubling. We must also ask why the response to these viruses might be so uniform despite their genetic differences. COVID-19 and Monkeypox are not the same, yet public health measures like vaccinations, quarantines, and mandates may be proposed for Monkeypox, making it seem to follow a familiar script. Is this a “one size fits all” case, or is there a deeper reason behind this standardized approach?

The Human Cost: Real Lives, Real Consequences

Beyond the genetic code and scientific theories, there are real people whose lives have been irrevocably changed by these viruses—and the responses to them. The COVID-19 pandemic left a trail of devastation, not just in terms of lives lost but also in the form of livelihoods destroyed, mental health crises exacerbated, and social divisions widened. Will the same fate befall us with Monkeypox? Consider the nurse who suffered severe side effects after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine or the elderly man who died of a heart attack days after his second dose. These are not abstract statistics; they are human beings who paid the price for a rushed response to a complex problem. As
Monkeypox looms, are we ready to repeat the same mistakes?

Science Please, Not Silence

The time has come for transparency and accountability. We cannot afford to be passive observers in a narrative controlled by those with an hidden agenda. We must demand open, honest discussions about the genetic nature of these viruses, the true origins of COVID-19, and the real risks posed by Monkeypox. Science thrives on questioning, challenging established norms, and exploring all possibilities, no matter how uncomfortable they may be. We must not allow fear or political correctness to silence legitimate scientific inquiry. Instead, we must pursue
the truth, wherever it may lead, and hold those in power accountable for their actions. Ultimately, the story of COVID-19 and Monkeypox is not just about viruses—it’s about us. It’s about our willingness to ask the hard questions, to seek the truth, and to protect our future from the shadows of deception.
