Prescription Profits

How the Health Industry Turned Humanity into Customers

By Morris Wambua

The Fear Factory

Ideally, medicine should heal, but in our present world, it seems the primary ailment is the cure itself. Globally, our healthcare systems are essentially sick! The commercialization of health has morphed into a profitable enterprise, with the pandemic serving as the perfect stage for the powers that be—the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the ever-present global elites—to roll out their latest product lines. COVID-19 policies which we will use as our case scenario, initially sold as protective measures, eventually proved to be highly effective... at driving fear, confusion, and unparalleled profits.

Take, for example, the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Amid the chaos and uncertainty, we were spoon-fed daily doses of fear by the WHO, with an undertone that sounded less like health advice and more like marketing slogans: "Stay home, save lives," "Stay home, wash your hands, sanitize!" The messaging was everywhere, echoing through deserted streets and flashing on the screens of our quarantined lives. It wasn’t just a public health campaign; it was a masterclass in psychological manipulation.

But while the public cowered indoors, wearing face diapers, and trembling at every announcement of new cases, the real action was taking place in boardrooms and conference calls. As businesses shuttered and economies crumbled, pharmaceutical giants thrived, rolling out vaccine after vaccine with the precision of a well-oiled machine. And behind them stood the WHO, a once-trusted institution that now seemed more like a salesperson than a guardian of global health.

The rapid development of vaccines was hailed as a triumph of science, but the speed and scale at which they were pushed out raised eyebrows. Emergency use authorizations, hastily arranged clinical trials, and a relentless push for mass vaccination—these were not the cautious steps of a careful medical community, but the aggressive tactics of a sales campaign. The fact that Pfizer, Moderna, and their comrades reaped billions from what was pitched as humanity's salvation seemed to be just a fortunate side effect. After all, who wouldn't want to make a little profit while "saving the world?"

The Masked Mandate

Governments, seemingly under the spell of the WHO's siren call, issued mandates with the flair of dictators. Masks became the new currency, and vaccines, the golden ticket to return to a "normal" that, ironically, was anything but. "If we continue behaving normarry, this disease will treat us abnormarry" was declared in Kenya as the creed by which we lived. It wasn’t long before vaccine passports—those digital bracelets of compliance—made their debut, not as a public health measure, but as a business model.

The narrative was clear: to be a good citizen, you must comply. To comply, you must buy in—literally and figuratively—to the idea that health can be mandated, regulated, and monetized. Those who questioned the
efficacy of these measures were labeled as conspiracy theorists, anti-vaxxers, or worse, enemies of public health. But behind the curtain, it was easy to see that this wasn’t about health at all. It was about control.

The vaccine passport was perhaps the most blatant example of this control. Touted as a necessary tool to keep the virus at bay, it quickly became apparent that its real purpose was far more insidious. By turning a public health measure into a prerequisite for participating in society, governments and corporations created a new kind of compliance—a digital leash that kept the public in check while feeding a data-hungry system. The fact that these passports were rolled out with such fervor, despite growing evidence that vaccines did not prevent transmission, should have been a red flag. But by then, the wheels of commercialization were already in motion, and there was no stopping them.

The Globalist Agenda

Let’s not forget the supporting cast in this drama: the World Economic Forum (WEF). Led by figures who seem plucked from dystopian fiction, they sold the pandemic as an opportunity—a Great Reset, they called it. Suddenly, health wasn’t just about avoiding disease; it was about aligning with the new global order. The WEF’s role in the pandemic response was subtle but powerful. With their talk of stakeholder capitalism, they positioned themselves as the wise sages guiding the world through the crisis. But their vision of the future was one where health was just another cog in the machine of global governance. It turns out, staying healthy means staying in line, especially when it comes to those very lucrative jabs.

Under the guise of protecting public health, the WEF and its allies pushed for measures that, in reality, served to centralize power and control. Vaccine mandates, digital IDs, and surveillance systems were all rolled out in the name of public safety, but they also served to entrench the power of those who stood to benefit the most. The result was a world where health had become a weapon, used to enforce compliance and quash dissent.

The Monkeypox Sequel

Now, as we teeter on the edge of the next health crisis—Monkeypox, the sequel no one asked for—it’s hard not to feel a sense of déjà vu. The script is eerily familiar: a spike in cases, urgent press conferences, and, of course, the promise of new vaccines. This time, however, the public’s skepticism is the wildcard. After all, how many times can we be told that a new wave of illness requires us to hand over our freedoms and finances before we start to question the plot?

Monkeypox, like COVID-19, may be the latest in a long line of health emergencies that conveniently arrive with pre-packaged solutions, courtesy of the same players who profit from our perpetual state of panic. Already, we are seeing the same patterns emerge: fear-mongering headlines, emergency declarations, and soon, a rush to develop new vaccines. But this time, there’s a sense that the public might not be so easily swayed. The skepticism surrounding Monkeypox is understandable. After two years of COVID-19, people are tired of being told that their lives depend on the next pharmaceutical breakthrough. They are beginning to see through the veneer of concern and recognize the profit motives that drive these so-called health emergencies. And as they do, the power of the WHO, WEF, and global elites may start to wane.

Health as a Commodity

This looming crisis is less about a virus and more about control. We should be wary, not just of Monkeypox, but of the narrative being spun around it. If COVID-19 taught us anything, it’s that health has become a currency, traded by the global elite, with our well-being often coming in second to their bottom lines. In this new world, health is no longer about the Hippocratic Oath, but the corporate balance sheet. The lines between public health and profit have blurred to the point where it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. Governments and corporations have formed an unholy alliance, using fear and misinformation to sell their products, while we, the
consumers, are left to pick up the pieces.

It’s time to ask ourselves: When did health become a subscription service, with our lives hanging in the balance of monthly updates and booster shots? More importantly, who benefits from this new normal? The answer seems clear—certainly not the people these measures are supposed to protect. As we face the uncertainty of what’s next, let’s do so with our eyes open. Question the narrative, follow the money, and remember: in a world where health is a business, your well-being is not the priority—it’s the product.
